Regardless of which Sports volunteer project you join, you can expect to make a meaningful difference within local communities around the world, helping children and teens to broaden their knowledge of sports, fitness, health and wellbeing.
Why do Environment & Conservation with Tanzania Projects
In many communities around the world, children and teens often do not have access to structured physical education and development opportunities. Schools and after-school programs are often strapped for resources, and as a result, sports education and development is not a priority.
As a youth sports volunteer, you’ll support local teachers by putting structure and creativity around sports and physical education programs. This is an opportunity to be creative in the way you teach youth and teens about international sports and sportsmanship, whether it be through basketball, rugby and other sports, or through interactive games.
As a Sports volunteer, you’ll ensure individuals in low income communities are active and engaged in physical activity. Your volunteering efforts will work towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals #3: Good Health & Wellbeing and #4: Quality Education.
